Kyle Hammer pulls double duty in 35th Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway
Piloting his No. 45 UMP Modified and the Sheppard Racing-owned No. 5S machine, Kyle Hammer rolled into Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway on Friday afternoon to kick off the 35th-running of the Prairie Dirt Classic.
Hammer finished seventh in his Mod heat race and finished 11th in the $5,000-to-win showdown feature. On Saturday, Kyle did not make the $50,000-to-win Super Late Model main event, but was able to grab the final transfer spot in his Modified B-Main. The finale was postponed to August 30th due to a heavy rain shower.
